Grab some medium to heavy weights, and join group fitness instructor Raneir Pollard as he kicks your butt — in the best way — as you kick your legs. You'll be using your weights for exercises like glute bridge and lunges and get your heart rate up with cardio exercises like skaters and skips to balance. Be prepared to work hard, but know there may be a dance break (or 2) and an extra long stretch at the end to reward your efforts.

This is the perfect workout!
You get a little bit of everything with this lower body workout. Great tempo to ensure form is maintained. Can’t wait to do it again.

Spicy Hot!
your lower body is in for a burn.... take his advice and focus on something else especially while doing the squats. Like others have said the workout was over in no time.and believe you me you want it over. I love the way he added on to each move. kept the muscles guessing.

Good work out - but on heavy on the weights
The blurb recommends medium-heavy weights, but as Raneir recommends - USE HEAVY WEIGHTS! Exercises are slow and steady, all about strength. Nice to mix it up from the cardio workouts in the series.

Decent, think i'll be sore tomorrow...
Like others mentioned, i was shocked when he said it was time to cool down. The moves are good, and i do like how he snuck in periods of cardio. I have a feeling my legs will be a little shaky tomorrow!

Excellent Strength & Stretch
Another fantastic Raneir workout that strengthens lower body, core & balance with a lovely stretch at the end as the prize. I have osteoarthritis in both knees & this is a perfect workout to increase muscle & mobility.

Love these moves and Raneir is awesome. This is a great lower body burner and so much fun. Enjoyed the long stretch at end. Wish I could do this one everyday!

The best 40 minutes ever
This workout did not feel like forty minutes with all the fun comments and encouragement Raneir has been giving throughout! I initially dreaded the length of the video but heyyyyy I showed up for it and I am thankful.

Don’t be afraid lol
Does anyone recall “45-minute tabata workout to torch calories” on Popsugar? (with Raneir.) When I saw this workout was 40 minutes, I was shaking in my boots a little because the 45-minute tabata is the video I do on my hardest day each week. This one was nothing like that — so have no fear! Perfect balance of legs and some good cardio, too, with hilarious commentary as always from Raneir (and a nice long stretch at the end!).

Fun as always!
Great energy and fun moves, I loved how the moves built on each other with each round. The longer stretch was a great surprise at the end. Just what my body needed :)
