These are features that are completely missing from the Game Boy Player, and I find it makes these original Game Boy games that little bit more unique. The added shoulder buttons allowed for additional gameplay mechanics and quality of life improvements that the original Game Boy did not offer. That’s ultimately the problem with the Super Game Boy.
