I saw that another user felt the same way about the instructor. The CONSTANT 'bikini body' comments were grating, and definitely implied that one needed to look a certain way - even if they're healthy. Definitely steering away from her workouts in the future - she doesn't really create a safe and non-judgmental environment for exercising.
Additionally, the workout itself was a bit boring by how repetitive the moves were.
Don't appreciate being told repeatedly to work for my 'bikini body' by the instructor. It is sexist and assumes that the reason people workout is to make our bodies 'ready for bikini season.' Women do not need to look a certain way, or be a certain (small) size to look good in a bikini. And it is not the role of an exercise instructor to impose beauty standards. Somebody can be healthy and still not fit into what mainstream beauty standards view as 'bikini body ready.' Disclaimer- if the instructor was implying that all bodies are bikini bodies, which very much did not appear to be the case, then I wholeheartedly agree with the statement.
This was INTENSE and great for my very first HIIT workout. I did it after an ab series and now I'm going to go run. My endorphins are high and I feel confident!
